The Charm of Rita Konig
You may recognize Rita Konig as a design authority because of her resumé as a columnist with pubs such as British Vogue, Harper's Bazaar and Domino, but she has also been decorating interiors for most of her career. Her interiors are pretty but not fussy, relaxed yet pulled together. And, they always include a bit of her signature quirkiness. As the daughter of famed designer Nina Campbell, this Brit grew up in the industry and developed an eye for design that is all her own. Below are some of our favorite spaces designed by Konig — including the Garrison, NY home of Deborah Needleman, former EIC of Domino — seen here:
Recently, Konig helped Mark and Blythe Harris, founders of Stella & Dot, transform a 19th-century YWCA summer camp into a charming Northern California family retreat. You can check out the full tour of this Mill Valley home on Elle Decor (photos by Eric Piasecki). Here are some of our favorite rooms in the house:

Master of the Gallery Wall
We came to love Konig years ago when we saw the way she masterfully created the perfectly imperfect gallery wall in her NYC apartment. It's been fun seeing how the collections have evolved over time in her various homes!
The photo of her West London home (seen above) comes from the March issue of House & Garden UK. Except where noted, all other photos are from her website where she has also recently launched an e-commerce shop. We've included some of our favorite pieces from the collection below in addition to several other picks to help you get the signature Rita Konig look!
